Armdale and Armdale Park believe in producing rams that are paddock reared, so that they will continue to thrive while they are working. All sheep are fully recorded and we can supply complete pedigree data on all sheep within our stud. Both studs are in the Market Assurance Program and have recently updated with no further testing required until 2003.

Stockscan Performance recording is used within the studs, which gives an accurate assessment for eye-muscle-area (width and depth) and enables us to continually increase the muscle whilst controlling fat, producing a meatier carcass that is highly sought after by the meat industry. This enables us to provide figures that clients can understand.

The studs have an annual lambing percentage in excess of 150%, giving clients value for money.

Many clients are now using Armdale and Armdale Park rams over Merino ewes with excellent results, both over the hook and in the yards. Meat buyers recognise the quality of Armdale and Armdale Park sired lambs and regularly source their genetics both privately and through the saleyards.

Both studs are Brucellosis accredited and Footrot free
